UX/UI Designer

Overview
Aerialytic is a cutting edge AI startup in the cleantech space. We are on a mission to save our planet by automating the residential solar design process through our various B2B SaaS web applications and making solar more affordable to everyone. We are looking for an eager, ambitious and driven UX/UI designer that will bring their creativity and design chops to the table to help us achieve our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Refine and enhance the UI/UX of our existing AI-driven web applications to make them even more user-friendly
- Lead the design of new products, collaborating closely with our engineering and product lead to create seamless user experiences
- Conduct user research, testing, and iterate based on feedback to ensure our products meet and exceed our users’ needs
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that bring ideas to life
- Design with accessibility in mind, ensuring an inclusive experience for all users
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to implement designs and maintain a cohesive design system across all of our products
- Stay up to date on the latest design trends and bring fresh ideas that align with our company’s vision and mission to our product
- Lead the design process, from conceptualizing to delivering polished, production-ready designs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer (strong preference on applicants with B2B, SaaS and / or web application experience)
- Experience working with existing products that need UX/UI enhancements
- Experience with user research methods and analysis, workflow mapping, wireframing, prototyping and usability testing
- Experience with the end-to-end design process from understanding to materializing
- Strong proficiency in Figma and other design and prototyping tools
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-platform UX/UI
- Experience working with a design system across multiple web applications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills – you can clearly articulate design decisions and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including engineering, product managers and business stakeholders
- Passionate about sustainability and creating products that make a positive impact
