Friendly, talented team.Hybrid work - one day/week in the office: One day per week (typically) in our Toronto office; other days flexible.Some of our job benefits: Competitive salary: $80,000 - $110,000 annually, plus quarterly and annual performance-based incentives; Health and dental benefits; Top-notch computers; $500 fitness benefit; Subsidized internet and phone plans; Make a difference: you'll be the 67th member of our team; 3 weeks vacation (increasing with tenure) plus 10 PTO days.Job Overview: As our Sales Team Lead, reporting to the Director of Sales & Customer Operations, you'll support and grow the sales department, helping convert leads into customers and ensuring our processes are efficient, consistent, and scalable. You'll coach and enable SDRs and AEs to perform at their best, leading a team of 9 (and growing) across Toronto and Lisbon.Core management responsibilities: Design and improve systems/processes for lead qualification (consistent MQL/SQL, clean handoffs, SDR-AE alignment), pipeline management (hygiene, forecasting, progression), sales execution (discovery, demos, trials, follow-ups, closing), and performance/accountability (hitting activity, conversion, revenue targets); Manage CRM and sales tools; Implement best practices to increase conversion rates, shorten cycles, and improve lead quality; Oversee team operations (performance tracking, meetings, 1:1s, reviews); Set/monitor/report on KPIs; Participate in hiring and training.Core sales leadership responsibilities: Primary point for day-to-day questions and escalations; Coach SDRs/AEs on qualification, objection handling, deal strategy/follow-up, time/pipeline management; Ensure collaboration between Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success; Surface insights on pricing, lead quality, competitive feedback, customer needs; Lead side projects to improve efficiency, reporting, and performance.Secondary responsibilities: Implement processes for engagement and retention; Represent the sales team on cross-department projects; Contribute to pricing, promotions, and sales strategy; Propose improvements and experiments.What we're looking for: 2–3+ years of B2B sales experience within a team, plus coaching/mentoring/leadership experience; Natural leader and team player; Technically capable with tools like HubSpot, Zoom, Chorus; Adaptable; Customer-centric and empathetic; Strong communicator; Quick learner; Self-starter; Team player; Friendly, positive, and approachable.Nice to have: Experience supporting both SDR and AE functions; SaaS industry experience; Inventory/small business/remote work experience; Unique hobbies.Use of AI in the hiring process: We use AI-enabled tools to support parts of our process; every hiring decision is made by real humans.
