Be in charge of data for a growing software-as-a-service company! As our first dedicated data-centric employee, you will define how we collect, store, synchronize, analyze, and report on data company-wide. Responsibilities: define a modern, practical data architecture and warehousing strategy; create and maintain data pipelines across company systems; build dashboards for stakeholders to monitor key metrics; perform ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions and discover insights; document data architecture nuances; communicate with stakeholders to address data concerns and improve reporting. Requirements: 2+ years managing/troubleshooting data architecture and pipelines; bachelor’s degree in CS or related, or equivalent experience; detail-oriented; strong SQL and spreadsheets; some programming in C#, Java, or other strongly typed languages; experience creating reusable reports (e.g., PowerBI); excellent communication; self-driven. Nice to have: data science (ML, predictive analytics); subscription data experience; experience with massive datasets (ours are mostly hundreds of thousands of rows). Applications closed.
