SYSTEMS ANALYST
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detailed Systems Analyst that will be instrumental in supporting the data management and infrastructure at Aspire. You will develop, maintain, troubleshoot, review, analyze and evaluate the various data systems to ensure data integrity and optimize the needs of stakeholders.
This is an on-site role located in London, Ontario and reports to the IT Manager.
SHIFT STRUCTURE
This role will primarily work Monday to Friday, day shift, however work outside of standard working hours is required as needed, in order to effectively support the location's 24/7 operation.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER
Promote a Health and Safety, Food Safety and GMP Culture by adhering to company standards at all times.
Provide technical solutions to assist with system requests from the business functional areas
Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
Identify ongoing data issues, implement corrective actions to reduce repetitive support cases and when warranted, provide detailed root cause analysis reports.
Monitor systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Administer user accounts and security roles as required. Ensure best practices are followed for Security, Reporting, Vendor and Stakeholder relationships
Manage user expectations and facilitate appropriate escalation responses that engage Internal or external resources when warranted
Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
Work with applicable vendors to troubleshoot issues and create system change requests
Perform proactive application monitoring, maintenance, and system troubleshooting.
Other related duties and required or assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Degree/Diploma in Computers/Information Systems or equivalent work experience
Superior computers skills and expert experience across Microsoft, ERP and SQL Database Applications
Detailed knowledge on creating RDLC Reports and Queries in SQL Database
Strong knowledge of schema within SQL and ODATA
Minimum of 2 years providing real-time technical and functional support to users in a manufacturing environment
Experience creating detailed reports
Detail-Oriented, analytical and inquisitive with advanced documentation skills more years experience in a similar leadership role.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make the necessary decisions to move forward the work at hand.
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
Extensive knowledge of computer systems and programming languages
Proficient with or able to quickly learn systems, software and manufacturing processes
Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
