The Senior Content Writer supports our ambitious outreach strategy and approach to brand journalism. This role brings a strong writing background and the ability to plan, create and promote engaging, compelling content to support a wide range of functions. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Strategy and Content, the Senior Content Writer plays a pivotal role in executing on our content strategy, building out a robust library of well-researched foundational content, guides, reports, blogs and other assets.

The impact you'll have:

  • Work with the Senior Manager, Brand Strategy and Content stakeholders to contribute to and execute our content strategy and quarterly roadmaps.
  • Work closely with demand, customer marketing and other teams to identify and develop content recommendations that support broader marketing goals.
  • Scope, research and write a wide range of resources, including guides, reports, case studies and blogs and work closely with Senior Content & Creative Manager to produce engaging and eye-catching assets.
  • Develop repurposing strategies to get the most out of our content and target specific industries and personas to support broader marketing goals.
  • Research market and industry trends to keep our content relevant and authoritative Interpret data and engagement metrics to inform our strategy and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

What you'll bring:

  • Five to seven years of experience in a relevant marketing or journalism role.
  • Strong knowledge of content fundamentals and writing for various stages of the marketing funnel.
  • Experience with WordPress, Marketo, Seismic, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and other martech (marketing technology) is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Incredible writing and content development skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with various teams and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to get creative to get the job done, learn new skills on the fly and think creatively to solve problems and overcome challenges.
  • Journalistic research skills and proven ability to tell authentic stories
