We are looking for a candidate who is excited to support the finance function of a fast-growing company. - Experienced in working with startup organizations, ideally ranging in size from 30-100 employees.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing Accounts Payable: Reviewing vendor invoices, expense reports, reconciling credit cards, and maintaining accurate records.
- Managing Accounts Receivable: Handling invoicing, collections, and maintaining customer-related records.
- Preparing schedules and working papers for month-end account reconciliation and assisting with daily and monthly closing procedures.
- Assisting with ad-hoc special projects and reporting needs as they arise.
- Continuously improving workflow procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and completeness in financial and management reporting.
What You’ll Need
- At least 2 years of experience in full-cycle accounting or public practice with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is an asset.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools.
