Role Overview

As the Integration Engineer, you’ll own the technical architecture and development of integrations between Cyder’s Loyalty Platform and the core systems of our credit union partners. You will play a critical role in designing scalable APIs, building secure data flows, and ensuring seamless platform adoption for financial institutions. This is a position where you’ll guide technical decisions, and collaborate closely with product, client success, and partner teams to bring Cyder’s platform to life.

What You’ll Do

• Follow integration steps and documentation to connect Cyder’s platform with partner systems

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they come up

• Collaborate with Cyder’s team to improve and refine integration processes

• Support partner onboarding to ensure smooth deployments

• Ensure compliance with financial data handling standards and regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• +2 years of experience in IT, technical support, backend engineering, cloud, or related roles

• Experience with cloud infrastructure Azure and containerization.

• Strong proficiency with modern backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python).

• Deep understanding of REST APIs, authentication (OAuth, SAML, PASETO), and event-driven architecture.

• Basic familiarity with APIs, databases, or cloud environments

• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

• Previous exposure to fintech, banking, or SaaS integrations

• Experience with scripting languages or cloud tools

• Experience with credit union or community banking systems (e.g., Jack Henry, Q2, Fiserv, or similar).

• Background in loyalty, rewards, or payments platforms.

• Prior experience at a startup or fast-paced growth environment.
