The Role
As a key member of our sales team, you are motivated to grow EMN's business by adding new accounts, surgeon customers, and patient end-users. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for learning our product offering, value proposition, and sales tools; generating new leads & opportunities; building relationships; managing the sales process; closing new sales; providing exceptional customer service; obtaining customer feedback; and identifying opportunities to increase the utilization of EMN’s products within existing accounts in a defined territory within the USA. Additionally, you will support strategic sales initiatives and ad hoc projects as required.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Nurture Customers
- Build strong communication and relationship with customers and their key staff members
- Execute EMNs channel success plan providing customers with regular performance updates, reporting and celebrating milestones
- Drive
utilization of EMN products by patients through your referring surgeons
2. Current Account Expansion
- Ensure surgeons and their staff are confidently and consistently referring patients to EMN products
- Strategically expand by adding surgeons or specialty groups that are not yet referring patients to EMN products
3. Lead Generation
- Generate new surgeon leads using omnichannel approach (referrals, events, cold email / calling, social media, door to door)
- Conduct simple research to personalize outreach when appropriate
- Build and leverage relationships with industry reps and surgeon
customers to
receive direct referrals
- Keep outreach organized and well documented in customer relationship management (CRM) tool
4. Presentation / Deal Advancement
- Present nutritional science and business models clearly and confidently
- Uncover customers motivators and objections through conversation
- Navigate the approval process for solo surgeons or groups / practices
- Drive approval timelines by keeping yourself and product champion organized and prepared
5. Site Activations
- Lead onsite & virtual practice education / onboarding meetings at new accounts
- Uncover each account’s patient education journey and implement educational tools that ensures a majority of surgical patients will receive EMN educational
- Determin who the key staff members are in the patient educational journey and continue to support them after activation
6. Remain Organized
- Keep a clean and organized CRM
- Work independently and prioritize work based on contribution for EMNs growth goals
- Capture customer feedback such as product feedback, reasons for winning or losing deals, future product needs
Your Qualification
Education:
undergraduate degree in business, marketing, nutrition, kinesiology, or science
Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience in a B2B, health & wellness, pharmaceutical, medical device or medical technology industry
Previous experience working in orthopedics and with tools including a CRM is an asset but not required
Previous experience driving product consumption vs. Fixed valued contracts is asset but not required
