We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Financial Controller / Chief Accountant to take ownership of the finance function for FabricAir UAB as we bring the function in-house from an external accounting provider.

This is a unique opportunity for a senior finance professional who thrives in an international manufacturing environment and wants to combine operational finance responsibility with participation in broader finance transformation initiatives across a global organization.

FabricAir is a Danish manufacturer of fabric-based air dispersion systems for HVAC. Our headquarters are located in Køge, Denmark. Our main production site is based in Alytus, Lithuania, alongside our Lithuanian tech centre and marketing team in Vilnius. Through our global subsidiaries and partner network, we deliver solutions to customers in more than 120 markets worldwide.

Your Impact and Responsibilities

As our new Senior Financial Controller / Chief Accountant, you will take full ownership of the finance function for FabricAir UAB while working closely with the Group CFO and colleagues across the global finance organization.

You will play a key role in ensuring strong financial operations, compliance, reporting quality, and support the ongoing ERP and finance transformation journey across the group.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Full general ledger and monthly close for FabricAir UAB for group reporting

  • Lithuanian tax compliance and statutory reporting

  • Annual financial statements under LFAS

  • Primary contact for external auditors and tax authorities

  • Oversight of monthly payroll, processed by an external provider, for ~100 employees in Alytus and Vilnius

  • Active role in the ongoing IFS Cloud ERP migration across the group

  • Direct reporting line to the Group CFO in Denmark

Who You Are

We imagine that you are a structured, detail-oriented, and business-minded finance professional with strong accounting expertise and the ability to operate independently in an international environment.

You are curious by nature and motivated by improving processes, exploring smarter ways of working, and challenging traditional finance workflows. You thrive in a role where operational excellence, continuous improvements, and structured financial processes go hand in hand. At the same time, you are comfortable taking ownership of areas such as accounting structures, finance process optimization, and establishing efficient and scalable accounting and posting rules.

We also expect that you have:

  • Degree in accounting, finance or economics. Audit background from Big 4 or strong mid-tier firm preferred.

  • Chief accountant or certified auditor credentials (vyriausiojo finansininko / auditoriaus) are a plus.

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in manufacturing or an international group.

  • Strong command of Lithuanian tax legislation and LFAS.

  • ERP experience, preferably at least one migration completed.

  • Advanced Excel; familiarity with Power Query and BI tools.

  • Open to AI-supported finance workflows, which we use across the group.

  • Professional proficiency in Lithuanian and English

Location and Setup

Alytus is the natural base for the role. You may also work from our Vilnius office alongside the tech centre and marketing team. Hybrid work is supported.

Candidates based in Denmark are also welcome to work from our Danish headquarters in Køge.

Compensation

Gross monthly salary between EUR 3.500 and EUR 5.500, based on location and experience. For candidates working out of Denmark, compensation reflects Danish market levels.

Beyond compensation, the role offers full ownership of the entity's finance function, a direct line to the Group CFO, and exposure to the group's broader finance transformation agenda.

What You Get at FabricAir

At FabricAir, you will become part of a global organization where you will have a direct impact on both local finance operations and broader group initiatives. You will be trusted with significant responsibility from day one and work closely with experienced international colleagues in a company characterized by agility, collaboration, and continuous development.
