Company IntroductionFoqus is developing a software solution that integrates with existing MRI scanners to reduce lengthy MRI scans (approximately 60 minutes) to less than 5 minutes, without compromising quality. The software utilizes proprietary AI-based reconstruction algorithms to produce high-quality MRI images from incomplete raw data.Foqus’ first AI-powered software has been tested on more than 20,000 MRI images and validated by MRI radiologists with positive feedback. The software was successfully used in a pilot study and has received FDA 510(k) clearance and the Health Canada Medical Device License, ready to be launched in the U.S. and Canada.Backed by VC investments, we have built a strong team and established consolidated product design and development processes. In addition, we have begun generating revenue through some initial collaborations and plan to achieve profitability in the coming years. Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Intern to work with our CEO to support our market research, business development, and fundraising activities. This internship is designed for individuals looking to enhance their professional skills while making valuable contributions to our organization. Responsibilities- Research prospects and identify potential leads (collaborators/partners/ customers).- Develop and maintain the databases of the marketing-qualified leads (MQL) and sales-qualified leads (SQL).- Reach out to potential leads through emails, phone calls, social media, or other channels to conduct market research.- Support market research and analysis.- Support sales and marketing material preparation (e.g., the sales proposals and presentations).- Assist with business, go-to-market, and sales strategy development and execution.- Research potential investors and maintain the contact list.- Support other fundraising activities.- Other duties when assigned. Basic Qualifications- Current business school students or recent graduates with a focus on strategy, business development, marketing, or entrepreneurship.- Strong research and analytical skills.- Familiarity with the sales process, funnel, and sales pipeline.- Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.- Attention to detail.
