Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing our day to day operation, with the primary objective of ensuring all orders are fulfilled. The role will consist of overseeing dishwashing, order fulfillment, and logistics operations, forecasting demand of materials based on sales forecast, and supporting the Chief Operations Officer in strategic decisions to drive down operations and logistics cost. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Friendlier is a rapidly growing start-up, we are looking for a candidate who is committed to building processes and bringing prior knowledge and experience to enhance the business. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and limited structure.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Site Operations
- Set dishwashing schedule and priorities based on sales forecast and orders
- Recommend hiring schedule and frequency based on team capacity
- Identify pain points and relay to the Continuous Improvement Engineer
- Ensure employees are working efficiently and hitting their targets

Forecast Demand
- Using the sales forecast, forecast the material demand and order inventory of supplies to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained
- Track inventory levels and usage of materials
- Oversee the organization of the warehouse

Strategic Growth
- Support the COO in strategic decisions to drive down operations and logistics costs
- Maintain relationships with strategic partnerships
- Support business growth with new ideas and recommendations
- Provide guidance based on previous experience on strategies for improvement and cost reduction
