Grand Challenges Canada is dedicated to supporting bold ideas that integrate science, technology, and social innovation to improve health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries and Canada. Funded primarily by the Government of Canada, they focus on scaling successful innovations and catalyzing sustainability and impact. Their evidence-based approach has led to significant results, including over 26 million lives improved and 85,700 lives saved to date. With a portfolio of over 1,500 unique innovations supported globally, they work closely with various Canadian institutions to enhance maternal, newborn, and child health, as well as address mental health challenges among vulnerable populations.
