Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Supplier Management
  • Source and procure components, consumables, and materials required for production
  • Create, manage, and track purchase orders
  • Monitor supplier lead times, availability, pricing, and reliability
  • Proactively resolve delays, shortages, and supply issues
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data in Odoo
  • Supply Chain and Inventory Management (ERP Odoo)
  • Receive and process incoming shipments in Odoo
  • Maintain accurate inventory for components, sub assemblies, and finished goods
  • Set and manage reorder points to prevent production or shipping delays
  • Perform inventory checks and resolve discrepancies quickly
  • Adapt inventory processes as volumes and priorities evolve
  • Logistics and Shipping Execution
  • Pack and ship hardware devices and internal shipments
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with couriers such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL
  • Prepare shipping labels, customs documentation, and tracking
  • Ensure shipments are accurate, on time, and properly documented
  • What Success Looks Like
  • Inventory in Odoo matches physical reality
  • Stockouts are rare and anticipated, not reactive
  • Shipments leave on time with minimal errors
  • Supplier issues are resolved without escalation
  • You can reprioritize quickly as needs change

Must Have

  • Requirements
  • 2–4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics
  • Experience working in a scale-up or fast-growing company
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal onboarding
  • Hands-on experience with physical inventory and shipping
  • Experience using an ERP or inventory system (Odoo strongly preferred)
  • Strong judgment, organization, and execution skills
  • Comfortable lifting and moving boxes
  • Proficient with spreadsheets and basic reporting
  • Important Requirement
  • This role requires someone who can operate independently from day one. Structured training will be minimal, and candidates who require close supervision or step-by-step onboarding will not be a fit.
  • Language Requirements (Québec)
  • French: required (spoken and written)
  • English: required (spoken and written)
  • (English is required for supplier communication, documentation, and international shipping.)

  • Hardware, electronics, robotics, or manufacturing experience
  • Experience managing multiple suppliers and changing priorities
  • Experience with international shipping and customs
  • Familiarity with inventory planning or demand forecasting
