What You'll Do

  • Own the product lifecycle and evidence-based roadmap for assigned products or product areas, from customer problem through launch, adoption, and iteration.
  • Lead structured customer and partner discovery; turn market, user, sales, and product signals into clear product decisions and scalable opportunities.
  • Translate company and portfolio strategy into product priorities, requirements, outcomes, and measurable success criteria.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and UX throughout development; make pragmatic scope and prioritization decisions when customer, technical, schedule, and business needs conflict.
  • Coordinate product readiness and launches across Engineering, Applications, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Support.
  • Help build lightweight product-management practices for roadmaps, feedback, product decisions, metrics, and communication without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • What You'll Own Independently
  • Within the strategic direction established with the VP Product & Applications, you will independently own customer discovery, opportunity assessment, roadmap recommendations, product requirements and success metrics, day-to-day product decisions with Engineering, product readiness, launch coordination, and product performance reviews. You are expected to surface trade-offs early and drive recommendations rather than wait for detailed direction.
  • Your First 3-6 Months
  • Develop a deep understanding of Haply's products, technologies, customers, and priority markets, and build strong relationships across Engineering, Applications, Sales, and Operations.
  • Conduct at least 15 structured customer or partner discovery conversations and convert the findings into actionable product decisions.
  • Ensure 100% of top-priority roadmap initiatives have a defined customer problem, business rationale, owner, success metric, and major dependency identified.
  • Take at least one important product initiative from validated problem through a meaningful delivery, launch, or commercial milestone.
  • Success means Haply is making faster, clearer, more evidence-based product decisions and translating those decisions into customer and business outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of product management experience, preferably with technically complex B2B products.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of meaningful products or product areas, not only backlog or requirements administration.
  • Strong customer discovery, product prioritization, roadmap, and requirements skills.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams on products involving software plus hardware, devices, APIs, infrastructure, or other technically complex systems.
  • Strong commercial thinking across markets, competition, pricing, value propositions, and business impact.
  • Ability to turn ambiguity into clear product problems, decisions, measurable outcomes, and executable priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and a self-starter mindset suited to a fast-moving environment.
  • Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, management, or a closely related field is required. An additional Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering is a major asset, especially in mechanical, electrical, computer/software, mechatronics, robotics, or systems engineering.

Nice to have

  • Experience in robotics, industrial automation, haptics, simulation, motion control, mechatronics, or Physical AI.
  • Experience managing integrated hardware + firmware + software products or developer-facing APIs, SDKs, and platforms.
  • Experience with CAD, 3D design, gaming, simulation, or real-time 3D environments.
  • Experience taking a technical product from early adoption toward a repeatable enterprise or industrial offering.
  • Bilingual French / English and experience in an early-stage or rapidly scaling technology company.
