The Role
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Director of Paid Media to lead our Media team.
As the senior-most media leader at #paid, you’ll define the vision and direction of the media function—shaping how paid media drives performance, innovation, and revenue as we continue building the Creator OS.
This role blends high-level strategy with execution. You’ll be just as comfortable presenting to senior clients and internal stakeholders as you are building media strategies, refining pricing models, and supporting key pitches.
Reporting to the VP of Strategy, you’ll partner closely with Sales, Client Success, Product, and Strategy to ensure our media offering is differentiated, scalable, and delivers strong client outcomes.
Key Responsibiliities
Set and evolve the vision for paid media, with a strong focus on presale strategy and revenue growth
Lead the development of media strategies and narratives for creator-led campaigns
Act as the senior voice of media in client presentations, pitches, and internal planning
Identify opportunities for new paid media offerings tailored to the creator economy
Stay on top of platform updates and industry shifts
Partner with Product to drive automation, tooling, and operational efficiency
Own the roadmap for AI-driven solutions to enhance media planning and execution
Own senior relationships with key platform partners (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, StackAdapt)
Unlock strategic opportunities, including betas, partnerships, and joint initiatives
Oversee external agency partners to ensure quality, performance, and alignment
Collaborate closely with Sales, Strategy, Client Success, and Measurement to deliver best-in-class outcomes
Contribute to a shared learning agenda that continuously improves creator specific media strategy and performance.
Work closely with Sales, Strategy, and Client Success to ensure media efforts align with client needs and business goals
Partner with Product to identify tooling and automation opportunities
Lead and develop a high-performing team of media professionals, including performance management and goal setting
Oversee day-to-day team operations, resourcing, and workflow optimization
Build scalable systems and processes to support growth and efficiency
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Media team, including resource planning and workflow improvements
Own and optimize paid media campaigns across major platforms
Provide strategic input and hands-on support for live campaigns
Lead media pricing and packaging strategy to ensure scalability and strong margins
Identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue from media performance
Own the media department budget, including team and external partner spend
Partner with Finance to manage media spend forecasting and cash flow

Manage and optimize paid social campaigns across major platforms
Operate as a senior strategic leader, confidently presenting to executive stakeholders and clients
Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, including pricing, presale strategy, and pitch support
About you
7–10+ years of experience in paid media, digital marketing, or creator marketing
Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams
Direct, hands-on experience across major paid social platforms
Deep understanding of media strategy, optimization, and performance drivers
Experience managing large media budgets and driving business outcomes
Comfortable operating at both a strategic and executional level
Strong communicator with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
Highly organized and comfortable in fast-paced environments
Nice to have
Experience in the creator economy or influencer marketing
Experience working cross-functionally with Sales or Strategy teams
Experience at a tech or high-growth company
Experience with AI, automation, or workflow optimization tools
