We’re looking for… A motivated and adaptable Senior Product Manager to take on senior role within our Product team. The ideal candidate will thrive in the dynamic environment of a scale-up SaaS company and be a key driver of executing on our roadmap, specifically in the area of payments, learning management system and/or B2B2C products . They will be excited about the opportunity to build with a supportive Director of Product, and be involved in the roadmap execution of a PE-backed scale-up. They will thrive in the role of mentor to junior teammates, and bring a focus on detail and data-backed decisions to their work.
The Product Team you’ll be joining
The Product team at Lillio is a small and high-performing agile team, committed to the product stewardship of our rapidly growing business. They are focused on stakeholder management across our Engineering, Educational Content and Design teams, and bring domain-specific expertise across the payments, childcare, and platform product areas - all while maintaining compliance with industry best practices as we grow our team.
We are looking for an experienced, passionate Senior Product Manager to shape our product as we grow.
Your Impact:
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for discovery, solution-ing, and executing against a roadmap of features and functionality that supports our core offerings and impacts happy customers all across North America, all of whom are deeply engaged in the care and development of young children:
Teachers - For early childhood educators, Lillio delivers on a promise of positive early learning outcomes by focusing on the foundational tools for essential caregiving support, lesson planning, content creation, and curriculum delivery. It strengthens school-to-home connections, building positive relationships between the teacher and home caregivers. And, it supports educators’ personal and professional growth.
Administrators - For preschool owners/directors, Lillio is a back-office tool for setting up and successfully running a center or program, making administrative tasks such monitoring center activity, administrative reporting, collecting tuition payments, and communicating with parents easier so that Administrators can spend more time doing what they love.
Families & Caregivers - For families, Lillio is a direct window into their child’s experience at school, fostering a critical connection to school life and activities. Lillio facilitates trust through highly engaging sharing and communication tools. It does so an all-in-one app for parents to interact with every stage of their child’s journey through care, providing continuity of education and care and giving insights into their child’s development.
You'll do well in this role if...
You are an experienced Product Manager, who has a proven track record of delivering high quality products in the payments, education (or related) industries and who has demonstrated proficiency in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to implementation. You have mastered the skills of leading through influence and can state your understanding of stakeholder management and communication from executive team to sales to engineering. You will have a burgeoning understanding of, and deep curiosity for, product-led business growth, understanding that you are responsible for your product’s success in the marketplace and across the organization.
We're Looking for a Senior Product Manager to:

Deliver product solutions that fit our mission and business goals

  • Identify business opportunities and be able to frame and articulate the user problems within them
  • Own and align the 6-12 month roadmap for your product stream
  • Collaborate closely with designers and engineers to imagine the best solutions through research, discovery, ideation, etc.
  • Guide the delivery of these solutions by working closely with the product team and stakeholders across the organization (experience working directly with Engineering teams and communicating value of decisions directly to Engineering)

Work within and facilitate our agile processes as part of a leadership triad

  • Know when and how to bring designers, engineers and other stakeholders together to create the best solutions
  • Implement programs and tools to coordinate necessary steps and stakeholders across the business, at all stages of product life cycle
  • Have first-hand knowledge of how to tie product discovery and efficient delivery together to build best-in-class software

Bring a robust set of tools and data practices for shaping product vision and defining business outcomes

  • Articulate problem sets
  • Facilitate solution discovery
  • Prioritize features and projects within a problem space
  • Frame problems, validate assumptions, and de-risk solutions
  • Establish metrics and KPIs that align to the higher business goals
  • Make informed and confident decisions on how and when to move forward

Be a product leader within the company

  • Work as a highly collaborative and effective team player
  • Facilitate and collaborate on successful go to market planning and execution
  • Mentor other Product Managers
  • Coordinate feedback and communication processes with internal stakeholders

Required Experience:

  • 6+ years of product management experience (in payments or education industries)
  • 4+ years within Agile product development
  • Experience developing go to market planning for new products or functionality
  • Experience within the context of our industry (child care, early education) or business type (B2B SaaS, marketplaces) is a must
  • Bonus if familiar with: Jira, Notebook LM, Pendo/UserPilot, Metabase/SQL
