We're looking for...
An energetic, dynamic and tech-savvy People & Talent Lead to join our People Operations team, overseeing a remote workforce across Canada and the USA! As a key member of a small People team, this hybrid function role will play a key role in managing both the recruiting function, and act as the employee-facing people operations point of contact for the business. This role will provide day-to-day administrative support on behalf of the People Ops team to all employees and contractors, as well as managing a conservative hiring plan. This is a stretch role, requiring comfort operating both in the weeds, supporting the administration and execution of People Operations and Talent Acquisition, with a keen interest in developing strategic thinking. You will spearhead our talent acquisition efforts with the support of ad-hoc TA screening support (both externally and from Hiring Managers), guide colleagues through onboarding, and ensure the smooth operation of our People Ops processes. This role is a great opportunity for an emerging People Operations professional, who is curious about expanding their career beyond the role of recruiting.
Titles of folks who will excel in this role might be: Sr. HR Generalist, Senior HR Business Partner (or Sr. PBP), People Operations Specialist, Sr. People & Talent Specialist. We are looking for someone who has experience working in a dispersed workforce across Canada and the USA.
Your Manager
Lillio’s VP, People & Organization Development has a philosophy that businesses should know their employee experience journey, at least as well as they do their customer journey. She is a leader who likes to set the stage with big-picture vision, and empower the team to work through the plan of execution. Focused on supporting the SLT and building and integrating the People strategy, she is a broadly focused leader who moves quickly, is fast to delegate the details, and provides autonomy to team members. She places a high value on curiosity, emotional intelligence, business acumen, and intrinsic drive to improve. You will work well with her if you enjoy building, iterating, are confident in your approach, comfortable moving fast and managing up, and are highly attentive to detail.
The People Operations Team You'll Be Joining
The People team at Lillio is a small and impact-focused team, who is committed to leveling up the Lillio workforce through its People programming. We care deeply about our employee experience and want to empower our leaders by shifting management back into the hands of those who work most closely with their people. We are excited about building this team-first approach and this role is a key part of helping us.
