Day to Day
As a Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships, you will serve as a high-impact individual contributor responsible for the strategy and execution of Indeed’s most technologically advanced partnerships in the U.S. You will drive our expansion into the AI landscape by identifying and closing deals with LLM providers to accelerate our AI evolution. You will work in lockstep with Product and Corporate Development to identify and drive strategic partnerships that directly support our long-term company vision and strategic roadmap.
You will navigate the intersection of business strategy and technical innovation, negotiating complex deals that ensure Indeed remains the leader in AI-powered recruitment. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, and Corp Dev to bridge the gap between external AI capabilities and Indeed’s internal product roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep knowledge of products, platforms, and market dynamics to understand how solutions address real-world operational challenges.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to guide priorities and ensure initiatives align with broader business objectives.
- Create and manage deployment plans for new solutions, including implementation steps, training approaches, and launch timelines.
- Use market insights, operational metrics, and data analysis to support adoption of new solutions and inform business decisions.
- Analyze data to monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and guide strategy.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to refine capabilities, integrations, and documentation based on feedback from operational environments.
- Contribute to the development of partnership frameworks and agreements that support scalable collaboration across organizations and regions.
Skills/Competencies
- Requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience
- Technical Partnership Acumen: Proven track record of negotiating and managing complex technical partnerships, including API integrations, data-sharing agreements, and platform collaborations.
- Comfortable engaging in deep-dive discussions with engineering and product counterparts on integration architecture, data flows, and technical feasibility to drive deals from term sheet to launch.
- Deal-Making: Demonstrable experience structuring and closing complex enterprise partnerships that involve significant legal and technical scrutiny.
- Significant, demonstrable experience structuring, negotiating, influencing the legal documents that govern complex enterprise technology partnerships; ability to navigate within legal approval structure of both Indeed and partners' organizations
- Ability to solve complex business problems with a consulting style mindset—mapping partnership capabilities to Indeed’s long-term business outcomes and ability to use data and financial modeling to justify partnership investments.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present high-stakes strategic recommendations to Senior VPs and C-suite leaders.
