Day to Day
As the Manager, Learning & Development, you’ll partner effectively with internal teams and key business partners. You’ll assist staff who are new and tenured in the Sales and Client Success organisation. Developing new enablement strategies and improving universal training programs aligned to Onboarding and ongoing education and upskilling of Sales and Client Success will be a key focus. A primary accountability of this team will be to prepare our Sales, Client Success representatives for success, enabling them with the products, systems, and tools at their disposal – and ensuring an appropriately scaffolded learning experience as learners progress in their role and tenure.
As a key player in the organization, you’ll partner with department heads to align our learning and engagement efforts with company goals and function specific priorities. You’ll build and develop your team to create content that fits our Global Learning and Enablement strategy of results, scale and simplification, using design frameworks and adult learning theory. Evaluating program effectiveness beyond level 2 and building a chain of evidence for impact will be crucial.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of learning enablement specialists; set goals, coach regularly, and foster an inclusive, high-performance team culture.
- Own the ongoing operation and effectiveness of the Sales and CS capability system, ensuring competency and fluency pathways translate into sustained field behaviour and measurable revenue impact.
- Partner with other GTM teams, product and revenue partners to translate business priorities into clear capability objectives, enablement strategies, and success metrics aligned to GTM needs.
- Communicate program status, risks, and dependencies to leadership, proactively unblocking cross-team issues and aligning collaborators on rollout and change management approaches.
- Oversee development and launch of scalable, multimodal enablement interventions (e.g., workshops, virtual, digital, practice-based experiences), managing resources and vendors to ensure scalable, high-quality delivery and field adoption.
- Measure and continuously optimise enablement impact, establishing leading and lagging indicators, maintaining dashboards, and using performance data and collaborator feedback to refine pathways and improve revenue outcomes.
- Drive innovation in enablement practices and technology, leveraging adult learning principles, behavioural science, and emerging tools (including AI) to enhance scalability, engagement, and measurable behaviour change.
Skills/Competencies
- Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirements.
- Experience delivering enablement for client-facing GTM teams (Sales and Client Success essential).
- Experience implementing learning analytics dashboards and continuous improvement loops to measure impact and optimise enablement.
- Expertise designing and scaling multimodal learning programs (ILT, VILT, digital, blended) with measurable business outcomes.
- Excellent business partner and collaborator management, communication, and influence skills, able to align senior cross-functional leaders and translate business priorities into effective learning strategies.
- Proven knowledge of adult learning principles, inclusive and accessible design, and modern learning technologies (e.g., LMS/LXP and authoring/simulation tools such as Synthesia, Elucidat, SmartBuilder, Vyond).
- Demonstrated program and project management capability, managing multiple workstreams including prioritisation, planning, risk management, vendor oversight, and data-driven iteration.

Tier 3 - New York City Metro: $87,000 - $131,000 USD per year
