For our patients, we are committed to achieving better health... NKS Health. Job DescriptionNKS Health Mississauga is looking for a qualified a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team! You will visit LTC homes in the area with a physician to assist with providing care to our patients. This is a full time position and requires you to have a valid driver's license and flexible availability. As a RPN with NKS Health, you will be responsible for providing exceptional personal care to our patients in London, ON and the surrounding area. As a RPN with us, you will have an opportunity to provide exceptional care to enrich the lives of patients daily.Responsibilities:

• Assist with medication preparation, vital signs monitoring, and charting for infusion patients
• Assist with vaccination services and injection training for biologic medicines
• Assist with reconstitution of botulinum toxin for clinics – including 1 morning per week off site reconstitution in London
• Assist with botulinum toxin preparation for Long Term Care homes in London and the surrounding area as requested
• Assist with scheduling and drawing routine bloodwork and drug levels for pediatric and adult patients on biologic therapies
• Assist with clinic supply management as requested
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR (required)
• Registered Nurse, Registered Practical Nurse or Practical Nurse Diploma
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel and reach freely and for extended periods
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional personal care and customer service
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check
• Updated immunization record (TB test within 1 year)
• Proficient verbal and written English communication skills
• Valid G level driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle
• Live in London or close by. Connect with LTC support person to let them know you have arrived
• Should ideally have some experience with botulinum toxin reconstitution, IV medication preparation, vital signs monitoring
• Have good computer and organizational skills
