For our patients, we are committed to achieving better health... NKS Health. Job DescriptionNKS Health is looking for an experienced Speciality Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing Ottawa Location. In addition to 1 year of pharmacy experience and knowledge of Kroll, the successful applicant must be organized, reliable, patient-focused, and possess excellent communication skills. NKS Health offers an excellent work environment and good remuneration. The position requires full time hours between Monday to Friday, no weekends.   • Providing exemplary customer service that meets NKS Health standards
  • Data entry of patient care information into Kroll ensuring all required documentation is adequate
  • Understanding, recognizing, and resolving third party adjudication
  • Assisting in coordination of next day deliveries and medication refills
  • Troubleshoot all billing errors before next day’s delivery
  • Ensuring all copayments are charged or forwarded to appropriate payer
  • Co-ordinate with all patient support programs regarding billing errors, plan maximums, and requesting all bridge medications for refills
  • Complete monthly inventory count
  • Other duties as assigned by the Toxins manager

Job Requirements
  • Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
  • 1+ years of community pharmacy experience with excellent knowledge in pharmacy operations
  • 1+ years of experience in completing and submitting third party payer reimbursement paperwork
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Effective organizational skills and excellent time management skills with the proven ability to multi-task
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues independently in an effective and efficient manner
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work under minimal supervision
