As a Facilities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining Kepler’s offices and facilities, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. You’ll work closely with the Facilities and Operations teams, as well as the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC), to uphold high standards of safety, functionality, and collaboration. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to contribute to the future of space-based communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Note: Working onsite daily is required or outside working hours, as needed
  • Facilities Support
  • Support day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and operational needs of the facility
  • Collaborate with the Facilities and Joint Health and Safety Committee to team to ensure a well-functioning, safe, and inspiring workplace
  • Support vendor coordination and communication as required
  • Carry out light physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. and climbing ladders when needed
  • Health & Safety Coordination
  • Support with engaging management and staff towards establishing and maintaining mature health and safety practices within the organization
  • Actively collaborate with the Joint Health and Safety Committee to maintain compliance and foster a safe working environment
  • Provide support in leading JHSC meetings, onboarding training, and other initiatives
  • Serve as a backup to JHSC co-chairs as needed
  • General Operations Support
  • Assist in organizing and supporting internal and external events
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by researching and recommending process enhancements
  • Provide support to other teams when required to ensure smooth company operations
  • Be available for occasional after-hours or weekend support

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Facilities and/or Operations experience and an associate or bachelor’s degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort working with external vendors
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and work with minimal direction
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration and supporting multiple teams
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders when needed
