Job Description:

The Fixed Income Sales team at TD Securities is currently seeking a high calibre individual to join our team of 21 salespeople as a Vice-President / Director in Singapore. This is an opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing franchise with high internal visibility at the senior executive level within TD Securities. This role is focused on institutional client coverage across South-East Asian countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage and service to Institutional clients in South-East Asian countries across Rates and Credit flow products. Experience dealing with official institutions and asset managers including Life Insurers favored.

  • Manage and grow institutional relationships leaning on platform matching TD's global strategy

  • Responsible for onboarding of new accounts, develop existing client relationships and provide timely market intelligence to internal stakeholders (Syndicate, Trading, etc)

  • Proficient in the full trade cycle beginning to end - pitching of trade ideas (primary and secondary), pricing, financing, execution and settlement of trades

  • Hold a solid fundamental understanding of markets in Asia and Global credits, local currency bonds(SGD, HKD, CNH) and USD, CAD, AUD, & select Euro bloc rates products, including on Asset Swap to various currencies.

  • Drive revenue by originating, pitching, and executing fixed income transactions across rates (Sovereigns, Swaps, SSA) and credit (Asia and Global IG)

  • Structured Product familiarity is necessary as we look to grow our Client Solutions platform with eye on optimization and collateral management solutions.

  • Demonstrated understanding of xVA pricing across range of bilateral products.

  • Maintain active dialogue with clients, providing timely market insights, trade recommendations, and execution support.

  • Monitor and analyze macro, geopolitical, and credit developments to generate actionable client strategies

  • Focus on cross-team and cross-border selling initiatives

  • Manage ad-hoc projects and support product development activities and research initiatives

  • Develop relationships with peers in other TD locations

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk frameworks

Qualifications & Skills

  • More than 5 years of Fixed Income Sales experience, ideally with experience in USD and AUD coverage.

  • Motivated individual with knowledge of market and regional landscape, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks independently

  • Prior experience in a global bank or institutional investment firm is strongly encouraged

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Good analytical and sales skills
