Job Description

The Accounts & Liquidity Delivery Team within the TDS VCP (Value Creation Plan) group is responsible for implementing new account and cross ledger capabilities to support the Transaction Banking Businesses within TDS. To deliver this mandate, our team partners with cross functional groups within VCP as well as stakeholder groups from across TD Bank and TD Securities (TDS) including teams in Product, Technology, Finance/Accounting, Treasury, and Risk teams.

The Delivery Stream Lead will provide stream leadership and expertise the projects that are in scope for the Accounts & Liquidity Project Delivery portfolio, working closely with partner teams to ensure on-time delivery of critical business driven initiatives through effective planning, dependency management, and risk resolution.

The team thrives in a highly cohesive and collaborative environment, promoting opportunities for knowledge sharing across projects and for developing broader stakeholder networks and subject matter expertise. The scope of our delivery mandate is dynamic as it adapts to align with the firm's priorities throughout the year. The team is a great fit for individuals with versatile project management/business analysis/technical skillsets who are motivated to overcome steep learning curves and build strong partnerships across the organization.

Job Requirements:

  • Structure and manage detailed end-to-end implementation plans, holding stakeholders accountable for progressing against established scope/timelines.

  • Develop a strong working relationship with technology partners, communicate effectively with developers on implementations.

  • Facilitate detailed requirements discussions across stakeholder groups and promote optimal testing plan/strategies.

  • Provide recommendations regarding delivery/implementation approach after consultation with key stakeholder groups on estimated effort, resource availability, cross-program dependencies, and other implementation constraints.

  • Proactively identify and manage cross-stakeholder group interdependencies.

  • Ability to consume domain / subject matter expertise quickly in differing spaces in transaction banking.

  • Summarize and communicate complex problems in a summarized, effective manner to senior management.

  • Dive deep into quantitative problems while working closely with subject matter experts in model and quant teams.

Qualifications / Skills / Experiences

  • In-depth familiarity with transaction banking business products and required end-to-end capabilities (channels, payments, ledger)

  • Familiarity with banking infrastructure including shared data service, data lineage, and governance/controls.

  • Superior organizational skills, including ability to employ systematic approach for identifying and tracking dependencies, ensuring proper resolution of outstanding items, and structuring efficient stakeholder meetings/discussions.

  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), including ability to formulate concise and impactful methods of communication.

  • Ability to operate in an unstructured environment and demonstrated ability to consistently apply expert judgment with available information when proposing solutions/recommendations.

  • Familiarity with Agile project management concepts and tools (JIRA, Confluence) is an asset.

  • Advanced data manipulation skills - ability to investigate and derive findings/conclusions from large data sets.

  • Familiarity with Kafka, JSON, APIs is an asset.

Education Requirements

  • University degree

  • Strong academic foundation in math, finance, or computer science.
