TD Direct Investing's High Value Client Relationship Team offers a range of services through our National Sales Team to deliver an exceptional customer experience to our most affluent and active traders.

Job Description:

As a High Value Client Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for deepening client relationships within a defined territory. The goal of the position is to increase the market share of TD DI within the territory by utilizing our value proposition to promote our platform and services to existing clients while onboarding new clients. This is a great position which provides excellent opportunities for growth within TD Direct Investing and the larger TD organization. Individuals will further develop relationship management skills, and they will use their knowledge of the market daily while discussing issues of interest to some of our more sophisticated clientele.

  • Build client relationships with prospective and existing accounts, in person, at client functions, as well as over the telephone, in an effort to build relationships through proactive contacts and regular follow-ups.
  • Periodically attend events with our High Value clients.
  • Be a solution provider to clients by asking great questions to uncover a need and then present a compelling service solution
  • Communicate and promote the role of TD Direct Investing in referring potential new business to our TDCT Retail, Private Wealth Management and TD Security Partners.
  • Maintain contact management records for each client to assist in strengthening client relationship and reducing client attrition
  • Enhance the depth of relationships within the territory by maintaining regular contact with key stake holders within the territory assigned.
  • Share client feedback and suggestions on improving Direct Investing products and services with the goal of ensuring we continue to strive for a legendary client experience

Job Requirements:

  • Genuine interest/curiosity about markets and finance, driven to continually self-learn.
  • Prior experience in industry an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively within a close team environment, excellent attitude and receptivity to coaching.
  • Entrepreneurial and relationship building
  • Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Exceptional commitment to the customer experience
  • Strong leadership and negotiating skills
  • Occasional travel is required"
  • Financial designations (CSC, IFC, CPH, DFOL) and/ or academic background in finance, economics, etc. (undergraduate degree or graduate). Support for required courses will be provided
