Job Description:

The Manager, Client Engagement will report to the Senior Manager, Client Engagement and is responsible for collaborating to establish roadmaps and delivery of programs for Direct Investing, Easy Trade and Active Trader clients to support client education, amplify features and capabilities, and proactively engage clients with offers to drive business results in line with OKRs. They will be responsible to manage/lead development and/or execution of marketing plans/programs/projects/strategies in collaboration with various stakeholders across the Enterprise by designing and delivering solutions/insights in support of business results, client engagement and experience and ensuring adherence to TD's Code of Conduct and Ethics, Marketing/Brand standards, and G&C/Compliance/Regulatory requirements.

CLIENT

  • Design, develop, and execute marketing solutions as a business lead to address business needs and strategies, supporting a positive client experience and alignment with internal standards and goals.
  • Ensure initiatives are strategically sound and aligned with TD’s client experience and brand.
  • Manage assigned projects end‑to‑end, from scoping and briefing through launch and fulfillment, in accordance with established processes, privacy, and governance standards.
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise during project scoping and planning to guide recommended tactics and solutions.
  • Partner with marketing teams to share client insights that inform effective briefs and solutions.
  • Maintain clear, ongoing communication with stakeholders on project status, risks, changes, and escalations.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve issues or errors promptly in collaboration with management and partners.
  • Capture and apply lessons learned to improve future initiatives.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of TD businesses, products, policies, and processes to deliver effective, client‑centric solutions across the end‑to‑end client journey.
  • Deliver actionable recommendations using insights from multiple internal and external data sources.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and impact against business results and OKRs.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners to support successful delivery.
  • Manage scope changes and escalated issues to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Identify and champion enhancements to marketing processes and services.
  • Stay current on emerging strategies, capabilities, market trends, and key TD initiatives to drive innovation in client engagement.

  • Prioritize and manage workload to meet service level, productivity, and quality expectations.
  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks, methodologies, and standards applicable to the business area.
  • Ensure programs, policies, and practices are well managed, meet business needs, comply with internal and external requirements, and align with business priorities.
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion in managing confidential information and correspondence; escalate issues appropriately.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks, ensuring timely resolution of escalated or high‑risk issues in alignment with risk appetite.
  • Conduct internal and external research and analysis to support the development and delivery of presentations and communications to management and broader audiences.
  • Perform meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level to assess program effectiveness, draw conclusions, and make informed recommendations.
  • Monitor service delivery and productivity within the function and implement continuous process and performance improvements where opportunities exist.
  • Apply subject‑matter expertise to provide guidance, direction, and support to partners and stakeholders.
  • Actively manage relationships across business lines, corporate, and control functions to ensure alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements, assessing potential business impacts.
  • Promote a strong culture of risk management and control supported by effective, well‑governed processes.
  • Work collaboratively with peers to reinforce Agile ways of working.
  • Compile, monitor, and share performance metrics and insights with relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • Self-directed investing experience would be an asset
  • Client facing experience would be an asset
  • Agile Methodology and project management experience considered an asset
  • CIRO Supervisor registration or CIRO registration would be considered an asset
