Job Description:

TD's Analytics, Insights and Artificial Intelligence (AI2) team provides consultative support with data & analytics-based business insights and/or solutions to guide decision making and/or strategic planning. AI2 is an exciting team to be a part of as we are transforming how we provide key insights and opportunities for our business partners to better serve our customers.

Job Description

As part of the central marketing analytics function, you will play a dual role — both as a data storyteller and an analytical problem solver. You will transform complex marketing data into clear, actionable, and visually compelling insights using Power BI and other advanced visualization tools, while also leading end-to-end analytics and measurement across paid and owned channels.

Your work will directly shape how marketing leaders understand performance, allocate budgets, and deliver personalized experiences — making this role a key driver in TD’s enterprise measurement and decision intelligence strategy.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards that visualize marketing performance, customer journeys, attribution results, and ROI across paid and owned channels.
  • Lead E2E analytics projects — from requirements gathering and data engineering to insight generation and executive storytelling.
  • Collaborate with marketers, data engineers, and executives to translate analytical findings into clear, visual narratives that influence decision-making.
  • Integrate data from multiple systems (digital marketing platforms, web analytics, CRM, paid media, social, and owned channels) to provide a unified, cross-channel performance view.
  • Apply data science and statistical methods (A/B testing, causal inference, MMM, MTA) to uncover drivers of performance and validate marketing impact.
  • Develop self-serve BI solutions and standardized templates to scale insights across teams and improve data literacy across Marketing.
  • Champion visualization best practices — simplifying complexity, emphasizing clarity, and ensuring visuals tell a complete and persuasive story.
  • Continuously improve dashboard performance, automation, and adoption by working closely with Azure cloud, Databricks, and Power BI gateways.
  • Use Python, PySpark, and SQL for backend data transformations, model scoring, and data enrichment that feed into Power BI layers.
  • Act as an insight consultant, supporting data-driven personalization, campaign optimization, and leadership reporting initiatives.

Your success will come from your ability to combine analytical depth with creative visualization, communicating insights that are as intuitive as they are impactful.

Job Requirements:

Core Skill Sets:

  • Power BI expert with strong command of DAX, data modeling, relationships, measures, and visualization design principles.
  • Ability to transform analytical outputs into executive-ready visual stories that drive clarity and alignment.
  • Strong understanding of marketing data ecosystems, including paid media, CRM, and website analytics.
  • Proficiency with PySpark, SQL, Databricks, Azure, and cloud-based data pipelines to support scalable dashboard data sources.
  • Familiarity with data visualization automation, report optimization, and gateway/refresh management in enterprise settings.
  • Strong data storytelling and presentation skills — ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Solid grounding in marketing measurement frameworks, including MMM, MTA, A/B testing, and causal inference.
  • Attention to design and user experience — passionate about building dashboards that are both beautiful and functional.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Curious, customer-driven, and relentlessly focused on creating clarity from complexity.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data visualization, or performance measurement — ideally within financial services, telecom, or high-volume digital industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Power BI (including DAX, data modeling, and Power Query) and experience building executive-level dashboards.
  • Strong technical foundation in PySpark, SQL, Databricks, and Azure Data Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing data sources (Adobe Analytics, DCM, CRM, social and ad platform data).
  • Solid understanding of data structures, warehousing principles, and ETL processes.
  • Experience applying statistical and causal methods for marketing measurement and optimization.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline.
  • Proven track record of analytical excellence, visualization innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
