Job Description:

The Strategic & Editorial Content (SEC) Group is TD Wealth's content centre of excellence, responsible for developing editorial, strategic and technical content that highlights the depth and breadth of TD Wealth expertise and showcases our thought leadership to TD clients and the world. The team is comprised of talented content professionals who bring together their editorial, production, creative and technical expertise to create industry-leading financial content across digital and broadcast streams. SEC properties include: MoneyTalk "Brought to you by TD," available at www.moneytalkgo.com and distributed across multiple TD ecosystems, MoneyTalk Live, streamed daily through TD WebBroker, and MoneyTalk on BNN Bloomberg, broadcast weekly on CTV properties, as well as live and original programming on multiple radio stations and various social channels each week.

Job Description

We are seeking a process-driven Senior Social Media Producer on a short-term assignment who understands the importance of capturing sharp insights and how to optimize them across various social platforms and formats. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of personal finance and investing topics as they relate to our targeted audiences on multiple platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook). Each week, you will work with a industry-leading team of multidisciplinary storytellers to guide package insights for a 'social first' content strategy.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will ensure content, copy, reels and shorts are optimized for maximum engagement, adding context to the financial topics that drive the current conversation. This will include breaking and daily news developments as well as planned and produced segments.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, adapting and producing short compelling content for daily distribution to audiences on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and more.

  • Working with our multi-skilled production team (design, videography, production) to script and produce multimedia content that conveys complex financial topics to a broad audience.

  • Collaborating with our Social Content Manager and internal lines of business, including marketing/SEO, legal & compliance to build ready-to-publish content under tight time constraints. + Tracking content performance and interpreting data-based signals to identify ideal content to drive action.

  • Work with Social Content Manager through the complete life cycle of content, from content identification, writing and editing through review and publishing. At all stages, you'll look for opportunities to improve process and performance

Job Requirements

  • 5 years experience producing editorial or journalistic content for social media

  • Experience using online publishing tools and platforms (eg. Hootsuite and/or Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Adobe Premier, Photoshop, Canva, AfterEffects)

  • Working knowledge of social principles, including SEO and platform-specific requirements

  • Subject matter expertise in personal finance, markets and investing themes and topics

  • This is a 12 month Short Term Assignment
