At Lim Geomatics, you’ll play a key role in shaping industry-transforming products and solutions for our global customer base in the forestry natural resources sector.

What You Will Do:

As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, forging strong client relationships, and positioning Lim Geomatics as the preferred partner for forestry geospatial software solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute integrated sales and marketing strategies to achieve business goals, expand market share, and increase brand visibility globally, while aligning with the overall business objectives.
  • Brand Development and Positioning: Lead the development of Lim Geomatics' brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistent and impactful communication across all channels. This includes overseeing content creation, digital marketing campaigns, and public relations efforts to elevate brand awareness within the geospatial, forestry, and natural resources sectors.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. Ensure the team is aligned on both sales and marketing goals and empowered to execute campaigns effectively.
  • Digital Marketing Strategy: Oversee the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, social media strategies, and lead generation efforts to support the sales pipeline and drive inbound marketing results.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities for our SaaS products within the forestry and natural resources sectors, leveraging marketing insights to better understand target audiences, market trends, and competitor strategies.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, presenting Lim Geomatics’ value proposition and tailoring marketing strategies to meet client needs. Coordinate with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts directly support client acquisition and retention.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify and target Tier 1, 2, and 3 companies, ensuring alignment across both functions in the execution of joint campaigns, sales collateral, and product promotions.
  • Sales Enablement and Marketing Collateral: Support the sales team with marketing-driven resources, including sales presentations, case studies, brochures, webinars, and white papers, to maximize effectiveness in client engagements and drive lead conversion.
  • CRM and Analytics Management: Oversee the management and optimization of CRM tools like Salesforce, ensuring seamless integration with marketing automation platforms for effective lead nurturing, sales tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Product Advocacy: Represent Lim Geomatics at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, managing both sales and marketing efforts to showcase our products, create engaging presentations, and strengthen our market presence.

What You Will Need:

  • Proven track record of success in a senior sales and marketing leadership role, preferably in SaaS, forestry, geospatial technology, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of both sales and marketing processes, with experience in digital marketing strategies, brand development, and lead generation.
  • Expertise in integrated marketing campaigns across digital platforms, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, and email marketing.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You are a persuasive speaker, active listener, and clear writer.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights from both marketing and sales to inform strategic decisions and optimize campaign performance.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools like Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
  • A results-oriented approach with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences and achieving both sales and marketing goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or marketing certifications are a plus).
  • Fluent in French and English considered an asset.
