This role will be based in Omaha, New York City, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, or Chicago.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are looking for an Advanced Analytics Senior Associate to join our team in leveraging one of the richest proprietary data sets in the world to investigate & make recommendations on LinkedIn’s advertising platform’s most critical business questions. As an Advanced Analytics Senior Associate, you will partner with strategy, planning, and the business to identify and deeply understand key go-to-market and broader business opportunities. You will partner with data and engineering teams to ensure we capture the right information for analysis and communicate the findings to key stakeholders.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in bringing structure to ambiguity, designing data-driven solutions, and measuring business and consumer impact. You will use your SQL skills and experience in applied statistics, analyzing data to draw actionable insights, and communicating findings to a variety of audiences. You combine analytical rigor, investigative skills and a growth mindset to build data driven learnings at scale. This is an exciting opportunity to drive scale and leverage while influencing the trajectory of our customer operations.
To be successful, you need to be highly analytical and creative in turning large complex data into conclusions and be able to work with several cross-functional stakeholders and excel in relationship-building, enablement and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications
The pay range for this role is $106,000 to $174,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze LinkedIn’s unique data to drive insights and strategic decision making
- Implement algorithms, models, and methodologies that enable stakeholders derive actionable insights
- Develop deep business knowledge and identify key questions to explore
- Write SQL and Python queries to extract, blend and analyze structured and unstructured data, and present the findings in tools like Tableau and PowerPoint
- Advise stakeholders & team on proper measurement and experimentation practices
- Anticipate data needs and partner with technical teams to address them
- Share and present findings and recommendations with senior leadership
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Economics, Analytics, Business, Engineering or other quantitative fields, OR equivalent experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience applying data analysis to solve business problems, including data science, analytics, business intelligence, operations, engineering, reporting, or consulting.
- 3+ years using SQL, analyzing and presenting data
- 2+ years of experience in applied statistics in a statistical software package (eg. R, Python)
- Track record of driving measurable business impact through technical expertise and business acumen; analytical, structured, systematic and creative problem solver
- Demonstrated record of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic and drive for success
- Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating in a rapidly changing industry
- Experience presenting data or other technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; ability to convert a complex data set into actionable recommendations and communicate work to varying audiences
- CRM Data Expertise: Knowledge of data from a CRM, preferably Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or Oracle Service Cloud
- Experience with customer operations or support organizations
- Experience with Hadoop and/or Python and working with big data
- Experience with statistical modeling, Python/R scripts and packages, experimental design and A/B testing
