Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
LinkedIn’s Social Impact team is focused on creating economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce by partnering with nonprofits around the world and inspiring our employees to drive impact. We are looking for a Social Impact Manager to support nonprofit partnerships and events focused on India, while supporting other APAC programs. In this unique role, this person will have the opportunity to work with a portfolio of workforce development organizations, exploring innovative collaborations to provide economic opportunity to those that need it most. Additionally, this person will have the opportunity to inspire colleagues in India and the region to connect with their communities, causes and each other to strengthen our culture and the impact we can have together. This position reports to the Head of Social Impact, APAC.

Responsibilities
Event Planning & Volunteer Engagement
- Collaborate with the global employee community team to plan and execute employee giving and volunteer events across LinkedIn
- Collaborate with volunteer leads, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and nonprofit partners to deliver impactful initiatives focused on supporting professionals overcome barriers.
- Partner with the global employee community team to contribute to Social Impact meetings in India and across APAC and support volunteer leads in scheduling and prioritizing tasks.
- Maintain and update a repository of success stories from APAC
- Inspire and engage employees by developing and delivering compelling communications to drive participation in events and initiatives.
- Develop and manage communication assets, including newsletters, templates, and customized content for Social Impact programs, training resources, and guides.
- Manage and continually update a suppository of stories to highlight and capture success stories from APAC.
- Ensure timely delivery of events and initiatives by monitoring and updating project timelines.
- Collect and analyze feedback and metrics to evaluate event success and recommend improvements.
- Support the wider Social Impact team on cross-functional projects as needed.
- Assist in managing nonprofit and customer relationships across APAC, particularly for LinkedIn Coaches.
- Collaborate with global Social Impact team members to design and implement global-scale campaigns and initiatives.
- Build relationships and influence stakeholders across India and APAC to enhance social and business impact.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across the Center for Global Impact (LinkedIn for Nonprofits, Policy, Diversity Inclusion & Belonging, Sustainability) to ensure alignment of goals and strategy and bring the holistic value of LinkedIn to the region
- Support CSR grantmaking in India and manage operational aspects of grantmaking in alignment with India’s CSR regulatory requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in the corporate or nonprofit/public sector and experience in workforce development or education.
- Fluency in both verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in additional languages is an advantage
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights and develop actionable plans.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, results-driven approach.
- Familiarity with the nonprofit sector and CSR landscape in India.
- Experience delivering programs across multiple locations and working in a global, fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
