Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

LinkedIn is seeking an exceptional digital/performance marketer to help us achieve our shared vision of transforming the careers of every member of the global workforce. The Senior Audience Operations Manager at LinkedIn will be integral to the centralized digital marketing team, which provides thought leadership on digital marketing strategies, shares best practices, and delivers innovative marketing solutions to drive LinkedIn’s business globally.

This role is laser-focused on enabling our marketing teams reach the right audiences for their campaigns across ad, web and email channels using advanced database skills and experience in optimizing marketing campaigns. They will be comfortable managing multiple initiatives and programs across LinkedIn’s marketing products. They should be an out-of-the-box thinker who is motivated by data and audience insights to support digital marketing plans that help drive both conversions and engagement on LinkedIn’s platform.

Responsibilities

  • Execute audience targeting logic (list pulls) for campaigns supporting LinkedIn's Consumer acquisition and customer programs using SQL variants (Trino, Hive, etc.).
  • Author and maintain query logic for audience targeting variables and automated list pulls.
  • Evaluate and prioritise project requests and enhance their intake process.
  • Improve campaign KPIs by collaborating on and applying targeting optimisation techniques and A/B test setup.
  • Partner with engineering, marketing, analytics, and product teams to achieve and surpass business goals.
  • Design system-first processes to scale targeting resources, including defining and leading implementation of enhancements to internal targeting tools.
  • Foster an inclusive environment where all team members feel a sense of belonging and are encouraged to contribute.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of audience targeting for campaigns, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Drive adoption of best practices and new technologies to enhance operational workflows.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners, including Legal, Security, and Trust teams, to ensure compliance and privacy best practices are met.
  • Represent Audience Operations in strategic planning, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across functions.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, analytics or insights


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with customer segmentation and campaign optimization for marketing use cases
  • Growth mindset, curious, self-aware, and passionate about continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to detail, and project management skills to focus on key outcomes amidst competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Experience with Trino and Git
  • Experience with Basic command of Unix commands / shell scripting
  • Fluency in various database languages such as SQL, Spark and Python
  • Proven aptitude for assimilating new technologies and processes
  • Proven ability to break down and diagnose issues, then identify and rapidly deploy solutions
  • Excellent communications skills; able to distill complex concepts into clear and concise language for senior-level management
  • Great collaboration skills to connect and problem solve with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, design, and data science teams
  • Experience with Statistical analysis including knowledge of A/B testing and Reporting (eg: Tableau, PowerBI)
