Job Description

This role will be based in São Paulo.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

As a Data Insights Intern in Central Operations, you’ll apply what you’re learning in the classroom to real operational problems. You’ll help build and maintain analytics assets, improve data quality and governance, and create lightweight automations that make our workflows faster and more reliable. You’ll own portions of work end-to-end, collaborate across teams, and present your findings to stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

  • Reporting & dashboards: support the creation, iteration, and delivery of recurring reports and dashboards that guide operational decisions.
  • Data quality & governance: assist with data cleaning, documentation, and compliance activities to ensure high quality, trustworthy datasets.
  • Workflow automation: contribute to small automations that reduce manual steps, improve SLAs, and standardize processes.
  • Business analysis: run ad hoc analyses to answer well scoped questions, quantify impact, and surface actionable insights for partners.
  • Risk & compliance support: help investigate issues by compiling data, performing checks, and summarizing findings as needed.
  • Communication: share progress and recommendations in team meetings and leadership forums; incorporate feedback and iterate quickly.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Math or similar courses.
  • Business fluency in English
  • Experience with Data Analysis, including advanced Excel skills and SQL skills
  • Available for at least 12 months of Internship


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau for building dashboards.
  • Python for data wrangling/automation (e.g., pandas) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and interest in process optimization.
  • Exposure to data catalogs/governance concepts (e.g., documentation, data quality checks).
  • Structured problem solving, attention to detail, and a bias for ownership on end-to-end tasks.
