About the team
The IAM Provisioning Admin is a hands-on identity operations professional responsible for the provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning of user access across enterprise applications and systems. This role is essential to enforcing the organization’s access control standards, meeting regulatory requirements, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of identity lifecycle processes.Provisioning Admins are the front-line executors of identity governance, ensuring access is granted swiftly, precisely, and in full compliance with defined policies and security frameworks.
About the role
Access Fulfillment & Identity Lifecycle
Provision, update, and revoke user access for systems such as Okta, Active Directory, and regulated business applications based on HR inputs and approved access requests.
Process identity changes for joiners, movers, and leavers according to standardized workflows and service-level expectations.
Assign users to appropriate roles and groups by applying established RBAC models.
Tool & Platform Operations
Operate and manage provisioning activities through identity systems including Okta, Active Directory, ServiceNow, and Workday.
Maintain complete, accurate, and auditable logs of all provisioning-related transactions.
Access Issue Resolution
Resolve access-related service tickets, login issues, and permission discrepancies.
Partner with application and support teams to troubleshoot and correct identity provisioning errors.
Audit & Compliance Support
Support internal and external audits by gathering evidence, identifying gaps, and remediating exceptions.
Conduct recurring user access reviews for regulated applications to ensure ongoing compliance with entitlement policies.
Document and confirm access levels as part of formal compliance attestations (e.g., SOX, ISO 27001).
Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure provisioning activities align with regulatory expectations and audit standards.
Process Integrity & Documentation
Maintain and routinely update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for provisioning activities.
Ensure documentation accurately reflects the current provisioning logic, particularly as application capabilities and access requirements evolve.
Coordinate with application owners, IAM Analysts, and IAM Engineers to incorporate application updates into documented processes.
Identify and escalate manual pain points to support automation and efficiency improvements.

Who you are
2+ years of experience in IT provisioning, Service Desk operations, or identity lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience managing access in Okta, Workday, and Active Directory.
Solid understanding of access control principles such as least privilege and RBAC.
Working knowledge of compliance-related access processes, including attestations and audit documentation.
Demonstrated ability to provide strong customer support and user communication, including resolving access issues through direct interaction with employees.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, SOX, ISO 27001).
Strong documentation skills and attention to operational accuracy.
