Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our International Employee Communications team, which is part of our Global Communications organization at LinkedIn. The Senior Manager of Employee Communications, based in Singapore, will lead communications initiatives that drive awareness of LinkedIn’s growth, success and value proposition to employees in APAC, in addition to globally focused projects.

You will partner closely with our Managing Director of APAC and with key business leaders to create and execute comprehensive, creative employee communications strategies that support our business objectives. You will be involved in all stages of communications initiatives – from concept formulation and message development to execution and results-oriented evaluation – all through a regional lens. You’ll have a deep passion for compelling storytelling, crafting clear messaging, delivering innovative communications, flexing a global mindset, and being comfortable working within ambiguity.

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. The Communications team has a requirement to work at least two days per week in the office, with Wednesday being one of those days.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a senior leadership role in a high-performing and nimble internal communications team across multiple locations in the region.
  • Drive engagement with a diverse base of employees in APAC through impactful, regionally-relevant and meaningful communications.
  • Design and build communities for employees to stay connected to the company's vision and mission and drive proactive engagement through consistent peer-to-peer and leadership communications.
  • Collaborate closely and proactively with multiple cross-functional business partners and Employee Resource Groups on inclusive communications efforts to strengthen our unique culture and values.
  • Design & drive communications strategies and execute programmes that support and promote the company’s areas of focus and in line with business objectives.
  • Develop a variety of communications materials, including executive comms, leader posts, messaging documents, Q&As, speeches, presentations and video.
  • Lead on employee engagement for executive visits to our international markets from event conception and planning, stakeholder management, through to delivery. Work with market leaders to create unique and engaging employee experiences when members of our executive team visit.
  • Provide counsel to internal stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and educating as necessary.
  • Work with extended communications teams from around the world, as well as cross-functionally with all areas of the company.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related communications experience
  • 2+ years of specific internal or employee communications experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS/MBA degree in communications, business or related field
  • Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal and people management skills
  • Ability to execute and influence at all levels
  • Experience driving effective communications programs to increase awareness and manage reputation in line with business objectives
  • Experience working with global, multinational companies
  • Ability to build relationships with people in other countries and from different cultures, often managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix organized environment
  • Working knowledge of the following tools or the ability to quickly learn and utilize new tech: AI tools, Sharepoint, Canva & design or video editing software
