Role Overview

LiveGauge is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support the logistics and performance of our sensor deployments across live events and customer activations.

This role starts as a part-time contract (minimum 30 hours/week) until August 4, transitions into a full-time contract (Monday–Friday) through January 4, and includes a potential extension into a long-term full-time role with a weekday schedule (3 days/week) plus weekend on-call support.

This is a hands-on operational role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys managing logistics, and is comfortable working with hardware and data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Sensor Logistics & Inventory Management

  • Coordinate and execute outbound shipments of LiveGauge sensors to clients and event locations
  • Package devices securely and generate accurate shipping documentation
  • Ensure all shipments align with activation timelines

Returns & Quality Control

  • Manage incoming sensor returns and track all expected deliveries
  • Inspect returned equipment for damage or missing components
  • Flag and escalate any issues to internal teams

Data Verification & Device Readiness

  • Confirm all sensor data has been successfully uploaded before redeployment
  • Review activation history and validate system synchronization
  • Reset, test, and return devices to inventory

Operational Monitoring

  • Track all outgoing and incoming shipments daily
  • Investigate delays, missing shipments, or courier issues
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and device movement

System Monitoring & Support (Including Weekends)

  • Monitor system alerts (offline devices, low battery, no data signals)
  • Proactively identify risks to live activations

Customer Support & Troubleshooting

  • Reach out to customers when issues are detected
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and operational guidance
  • Escalate technical issues when needed

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, inventory coordination, or technical support
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail, especially with data and equipment handling (hardware refurbishing)
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills (internal + client-facing)
