Loopio is looking for a solutions-oriented People Operations Generalist to join our People Operations team. Our People Operations team is a vital partner in all aspects of the business, supporting managers and employees on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

You’ll report to the interim Director, People Ops and support our team in bringing our People initiatives to life. You will play a key role in supporting the operational backbone of our people processes, systems support, and helping us scale and optimize our people practice. You will also collaborate closely with the rest of the People Operations and Talent team to deliver a world class employee experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Contribute to optimizing HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Maintain and update HR policies, documentation, and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance to local jurisdictions. This may include updates to the employee handbook, health and safety programs and ensuring we comply with audits.

  • Data management and analysis, ability to pull insights from our surveys/systems

  • Provide support to People Partners on key HR projects and initiatives, including areas like talent development, performance management, and salary reviews.

  • Support our People Partners with administering leaves of absence (parental, medical etc.), track balances, and ensure legal compliance across jurisdictions

  • Support exit and offboarding processes, including coordinating exit interviews and ensuring proper documentation.

  • Support immigration documentation

  • Help organize company-wide events, wellness programs, and team-building efforts to foster a positive workplace culture

  • Coordinate and assist in planning employee engagement initiatives and activities.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Collaboration comes naturally to you; you understand that true success comes with working as a team

  • 2+ years working in the People Operations/Human Resources field as a People Operations Generalist/Specialist, preferably in complex or high-growth organizations (Saas would be a bonus!)

  • Focused on staying organized and are detail-oriented, you understand the importance of accurate and timely documentation within our systems

  • Picks up HR tech stack quickly (at Loopio, we use BambooHR, along with other People platforms such as Lattice, Pave, Ethena, Ashby, G-Suite)

Where You’ll Work 📍

  • Loopio is a remote-first workplace because we recognize the advantages of working flexibly. We are HQ’d in Canada, with established hub regions around the world where we hire from.

  • Our employees (or Loopers, as we call ourselves!) live and work in 🇨🇦 Canada (British Columbia and Ontario), 🇬🇧 London, and 🇮🇳 India (specifically in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Bengaluru).

  • The majority of our team is based in ON and BC, which means these employees live and work remotely within a 300km radius of Toronto (within Ontario) and Vancouver (Within BC).

  • We offer flexible co-working locations available to Loopers in ON and BC. Those based in ON have the option of working out of our convenient co-working space located in the heart of Downtown Toronto and a 12-minute walk from Union Station. BC Loopers have the option to work centrally in Vancouver. It is whatever works best for you!

  • You’ll collaborate with your teams virtually across the UK, India, and North America (we’re just a Zoom call and Slack message away!) with core sync hours and focus time for headsdown work 🙇🏾 during the workday
