About the Internship Opportunity with MaRS Learning Solutions

Are you passionate about digital learning, user experience, and community design? In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing and curating learning journeys for founders - helping entrepreneurs access the right content, tools, and expertise to start, grow, and scale their ventures. You’ll help create a seamless, engaging online experience that connects founders with educational resources, community support, and growth opportunities.

In this role, you will support the enhancement of our digital support offerings, and help design experiences that connect innovators across Canada and beyond. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital strategy, community engagement, and entrepreneurial ecosystem development.

What You Bring

Required Skills & Experience

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field and returning back to your studies as of September 2026
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage timelines and multiple contributors
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, or digital transformation
  • Experience using digital tools and platforms (e.g., CMS, social media, analytics tools)
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment

Great to have (but not required)

  • Experience with UX design, content strategy, information architecture, or digital community management
  • Familiarity with data analytics and performance tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics)

The Fine Print

The internship runs May 4 - August 21, 2026.

The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is $42,000 - $51,000, which is determined based on year of study, candidate’s skills, knowledge, experience, and internal equity.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada, reside in Ontario for the duration of the internship and be willing to work out of our Toronto office (101 College Street) a minimum of 3 days per week.
