About the Internship Opportunity with the Mobility Unlimited Hub

We are seeking a Summer 2026 Intern to support the Mobility Unlimited Hub in advancing our mission to accelerate innovation in accessibility and mobility technologies. The intern will contribute to key strategic initiatives, including the design of the Hub’s alumni program, showcasing ventures, and impact tracking within an innovation hub focused on accessibility and mobility. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work with founders, ecosystem partners and internal stakeholders advancing assistive technology in Canada.

What You Bring

Required Skills & Experience

  • Enrolled in post-secondary studies studying Business, Public Policy, Communications, Health Sciences, or Engineering (or similar fields)
  • Interest in the Canadian startup ecosystem in Toronto.
  • Cross-team collaboration with organizational-wide teams, including communication, business development and events.
  • Assist with data collection, organization and synthesis to support reporting and program insights.
  • Conduct market and policy research to identify trends, opportunities and collaborations.
  • Continuous improvement mindset to deliver value to our ventures and external stakeholders.
  • Provide general program and operational support as needed.
  • Ability to work in person from our Downtown Toronto office up to 3 days per week.
  • Attend community events and ecosystem activities; some events may take place outside of standard business hours.
  • Demonstrated interest in accessibility, mobility, inclusive innovation and technology for social good.

Great to have (but not required)

The Fine Print

The internship runs May 4 - August 21, 2026.

The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is $42,000 - $51,000, which is determined based on year of study, candidate’s skills, knowledge, experience, and internal equity.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada, reside in Ontario for the duration of the internship and be willing to work out of our Toronto office (101 College Street) a minimum of 3 days per week.
