About this role:

As an Implementation Advisor within our Implementation and Consulting team, you are responsible for ensuring the overall successful implementation and initial value realization of incoming MindBridge customers across different industries. This customer facing role requires a strong understanding of financial process and control transformation through technology enabled solutions. You will be expected to lead meetings with Senior Client Executives (including Partners, VP & C-level), as well as manage day-to-day relationships with project leads on the client side.

As a valued team member, you are experienced in completing successful complex projects and demonstrate business knowledge in generating an understanding of your client’s needs, project governance and financial data requirements. You will be a key contributor to the team at different phases of the onboarding journey from kick-off to configuration to hand-off. This position will play a pivotal role in helping MindBridge drive the successful delivery of new solutions to our customers every day.

Your key business partners include the sales and account management team, who play an important role in the commencement of every customer journey; the greater Implementation and Consulting team who include data engineers; and, Customer Success who continue the client relationship following a successful implementation. Additionally, you will be working with other members of the organizations including product management, marketing and executive leadership, to create an effective feedback loop and drive a continuously improved customer experience.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work directly with MindBridge customers to implement MindBridge products into their business functions
  • Guide client through their onboarding journey, from kick-off to hand-off to Customer Success
  • Understand customer objectives and scope onboarding project to meet those initial customer objectives
  • Translate technical perspectives to business users to enable effective communication between the team members and the stakeholders
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual workshops to achieve key milestones along the onboarding journey
  • Understand customer’s business requirements and map to as-is and to-be business processes to support the initial use case being implemented
  • Proactively communicate relevant application, infrastructure, and product changes
  • Recommend solutions to changing customer requirements and emergent problems by carefully identifying and assessing risks and benefits of possible approaches
  • Work with the data engineering team to deploy the solution so it connects with the customer's systems in place: that means on premise for some, in the cloud for others and even a mix of both for specific customers
  • Troubleshoot and escalate client issues appropriately
  • Maintains high level customer satisfaction by providing timely services to customers
  • Provide in-person or virtually led product training to core client users
  • Work with global teams regularly and handle multiple projects/technical tasks at any point of time
  • Develop a deep understanding of MindBridge products to aid in workshops development, delivery and architecting solutions
  • Coordinate execution of project tasks in your functional area and be comfortable in working under the pressure of tight project deadlines
  • Serves as a liaison to other MindBridge resources in Product, Services, and Sales, as needed
  • Up to 25% travel may be required

Key skills & qualifications:

  • Strong business analysis skills

  • Understanding of accounting and finance processes and controls is a key asset
  • Experience in finance transformation projects
  • Ability to understand the pain points in current business process and provide workaround and resolution for process improvement
  • Ability to grasp application and integration concepts of new products quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Excellent oral communication, including presentation and facilitation skills; ability to liaise with a wide range of customers including global 500 companies
  • Ability to lead virtual and in person workshops
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver several projects concurrently

  • Ability to identify critical drivers to customer service delivery excellence

Education & certifications:

  • University degree in Commerce or Administration or other relevant discipline is required (strong preference for accounting or finance major)
  • CPA or Institute of Internal Auditors certification is required
  • 5+ years in financial or accounting role within a firm or organization
  • 5+ years in consulting or professional services position either within a professional services firm or within an organization
  • Strong executive-level written and oral communication skills are required
  • Experience implementing ERPs or taking part in finance transformation is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting integration needs
  • Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions
  • Experience successfully managing complex projects from start to finish
  • Excellent design and development skills using SAP and other Cloud ERP Integration
  • Good understanding of ERP architecture, functionality, integration API and configurations.
  • Knowledge of Java, XML or OOD methodologies is preferred
