Role Overview
As an Account Executive dedicated to the Orthotics & Prosthetics (O&P) vertical, you will be the driving force behind the digital transformation of lab and clinical practices. You’ll be at the forefront of driving adoption of an end-to-end digital workflow, from design to automated orthotics production using 3D printing technology.

In this role, you will consult directly with certified clinicians, lab owners, medical device manufacturers and healthcare facilities to bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and the future of production. You will own the full sales cycle—from initial clinical discovery to demonstrating our suite of digital workflow solutions and closing high-value hardware/software ecosystem deals.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sales & Pipeline Management: Own the full sales lifecycle—from outbound prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating high-value, complex deals. Maintain a meticulous CRM pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting
2. Strategic Lead Generation and Pipeline Creation: Proactively build a high-quality pipeline through outbound prospecting, leveraging deep industry relationships, and qualifying inbound interest within the O&P sector.
3. Consultative Digital Transformation: Act as a subject matter expert in orthotics and prosthetics digital workflows. Lead practitioners through the transition from traditional processes to digital additive manufacturing, providing clear ROI modeling on labor savings, material reduction, and patient outcomes.
4. High-Impact Demonstrations: Deliver tailored product presentations and technical demos that resonate with CPOs and clinical decision-makers, effectively translating 3D technology into clinical and economic value
5. Industry Presence & Brand Advocacy: Represent the company as a thought leader at major industry events (e.g., AOPA, AAOP) and through digital webinars to drive vertical-wide adoption of our automated platforms.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering and product teams to facilitate a seamless "onboarding-to-production" experience. Act as the "voice of the customer" to help shape our product roadmap based on real-world clinical feedback.

Top candidates for this role probably…

  1. Have 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience in Medical Device sales, HealthTech, or 3D Printing/CAD software
  2. Understand orthotic design, fabrication processes, and day-to-day clinic or lab operations
  3. Are comfortable communicating with practitioners, lab managers, and business owners
  4. Have experience introducing new technologies or workflows into clinical or lab environments
  5. Possess strong problem-solving skills with a consultant mindset, able to identify inefficiencies in current processes
  6. Are interested in transitioning into or growing within a sales or customer-facing role
  7. Are strong communicators and comfortable presenting to a range of stakeholders
  8. Work well in a consultative environment focused on education and long-term value
  9. Are self-motivated and comfortable owning relationships and outcomes
  10. Are comfortable traveling for customer visits, industry events, and key milestones
  11. Bonus: Have direct experience in the orthotics industry, such as a pedorthist, lab technician, clinic operator, or similar role

You’ll probably think about...

  1. How to improve workflows for clinics and labs you work with
  2. The future of orthotics production and how automation will shape the industry
  3. How to help customers grow their businesses through better technology
  4. How to position new solutions in a traditionally manual industry

After 12 months on the job, you can expect to have:

  1. Gained substantial experience working with orthotics clinics and labs across a variety of settings
  2. Learned how to manage relationships and guide customers through operational change
  3. Helped customers successfully transition to automated production workflows
  4. Developed repeatable approaches to identifying and closing opportunities within the orthotics market
  5. Built a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and long-term direction of the industry
