DevOps Project Manager (Contract)

As a DevOps Project Manager, you will

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud-related projects

  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Infrastructure, DevOps, Cloud, Security, and Application teams

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment

  • Facilitate project planning, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and status reviews

  • Track and report on project progress, milestones, and KPIs

  • Ensure projects align with architectural standards, security requirements, and compliance guidelines

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and platform reliability

  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and tooling

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in technical environments

  • Proven experience managing Infrastructure, DevOps, or Cloud projects

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or OpenStack

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.), and containerized environments

  • Experience working with Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid project methodologies

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business impact

  • Proficiency with project management tools (Monday, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, etc.)

  • Superb presentation skills and executive communication

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams effectively.

  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail

  • Perfect command of English (Fluent or Native)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, EKS, IAM, etc.). Or OpenStack equivalents.

  • Experience managing cloud migrations or large-scale infrastructure transformations

  • Knowledge of OpenStack architecture and operations

  • Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect, or Scrum Master

  • Experience working in regulated or high-availability environments

  • Background in SRE or operational excellence initiatives
