Role Overview:
Myant is a leading innovator in the field of textile-based technology, leveraging advanced materials and smart fabrics to enhance human health and wellness. With our cutting-edge developments in wearables, we aim to revolutionize how the world approaches personal care and health monitoring. We are looking for a Director, Business Development – Clinical Channel will lead the commercialization of Myant Health’s SKIIN platform across healthcare providers including hospitals, cardiology clinics, family practices, specialty clinics, and home care organizations.
This role is responsible for building Myant’s clinical distribution network from the ground up, developing partnerships with healthcare providers who will deploy SKIIN as part of remote patient monitoring, preventative screening, post-procedure monitoring, and chronic disease management programs.
The successful candidate will be a highly entrepreneurial commercial leader who is comfortable operating in early markets, spending significant time on the road engaging physicians, clinic administrators, and hospital leadership, and building scalable healthcare partnerships.
Reporting to the (TBD - Vice President of Sales & Marketing?), this leader will play a critical role in positioning Myant Health as the leading platform for continuous health monitoring and preventative care.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Market Expansion
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for healthcare provider channels including hospitals, cardiology clinics, sleep clinics, physiotherapy networks, family practices, and home care organizations.
- Build relationships with clinical leaders, hospital administrators, and physician networks to drive adoption of Myant’s SKIIN platform.
- Position Myant as the standard platform for remote patient monitoring and preventative screening programs.
- Identify and secure partnerships with:
- Hospital networks
- Specialty clinic chains
- Diagnostic and imaging centers
- Home care providers
- Cardiac rehabilitation programs
- Structure commercial agreements that support scalable deployment across multi-site healthcare systems.
Clinical Program Development
- Work with Myant’s clinical leadership to develop programs including:
- Cardiac monitoring
- Post-procedure monitoring
- Hypertension management
- Sleep health
- Chronic disease management
- Support integration of Myant services into provider workflows.
Market Education & Thought Leadership
- Represent Myant at medical conferences, healthcare forums, and clinical leadership events.
- Educate providers on the value of continuous monitoring, early detection, and preventative health programs.
Field Sales Leadership
- Act as a player-coach during early commercialization stages, personally engaging target institutions.
- Develop the blueprint for a future clinical sales organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product, Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, and Marketing teams to ensure provider feedback informs product development and market positioning
Qualifications:
10+ years of business development or sales leadership experience within:
- Healthcare Services
- Medtech
- Digital health
- Remote patient monitoring
- Medical device distribution
Proven experience selling into:
- Hospitals
- Physician groups
- Specialty clinics
- Healthcare systems
- Deep understanding of healthcare purchasing cycles and clinical adoption pathways.
- Strong network within healthcare provider communities.
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships from zero to scale.
- Willingness to travel extensively to build relationships with clinical partners.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
