About the job
We’re a Toronto-based, stealth-mode startup building a next-generation robotics and automation product at the intersection of hardware, software, and real-world operations.
We’re looking for a Senior Business Developer to join as a founding team member on a part-time / contract basis to drive early commercial traction — from first customers to strategic partnerships.
This is an early-stage role for someone who wants to help build something from zero and shape how it goes to market.

What You’ll Do

Identify and secure early customers, pilot partners, and strategic accounts

Build and execute go-to-market strategy from scratch

Lead outbound efforts (direct sales, partnerships, channel development)

Work closely with the founding team to shape product direction based on real customer needs

Define pricing, positioning, and early market segments

Run demos, close deals, and support early deployments

Build relationships across automotive, robotics, and related industries
Who You Are
-
2–10+ years in business development, sales, or partnerships
-
Experience in automotive, robotics, automation, consumer products, industrial equipment, or similar industries

Experience or connections in the automotive ecosystem (e.g., sales, technology, parking management, fleet management, dealerships, or any other car-related areas such as car wash, detailing, etc.)

Experience or connections in property management, real estate operations, or building services

Proven track record of closing deals and building pipelines from zero

Comfortable operating in early-stage, ambiguous environments

Hands-on and execution-driven

Able to communicate technical products clearly to customers

Bonus: experience with hardware products or robotics systems
