Novarc Technologies is seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to accelerate lead generation and pipeline growth for our industry-leading robotic welding solutions

Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing high-potential leads to meet monthly Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) and Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) targets. You will play a critical role in directly impacting revenue growth by converting prospects into high-intent opportunities for the sales team.

This position requires a high-energy, goal-oriented mindset with a strong ability to drive outreach and engagement in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment. Travel may be required up to 75% to attend industry events, customer meetings, and trade shows to drive lead generation and conversion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Proactive Lead Generation & Qualification

  • Meet or exceed monthly MQL and SQL quotas, consistently generating high-quality leads for the sales pipeline.

  • Research and analyze target accounts to identify pain points and tailor outreach strategies for maximum conversion.

  • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism, and CRM tools to track and optimize engagement with potential buyers.

  • Engage in personalized, high-impact messaging to increase response rates and generate interest in robotic welding solutions.

Pipeline Development & Conversion

  • Maintain the existing MQL-to-SQL conversion rate or higher by conducting thorough qualification of leads based on need, budget, and decision-making timeline.

  • Ensure all sales opportunities meet defined criteria before handoff, leading to increased close rates and shorter sales cycles.

  • Follow up rigorously with engaged leads through multi-touchpoint campaigns, driving continuous engagement until they are sales-ready.

Collaboration & Market Engagement

  • Partner closely with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, improve targeting, and align outreach efforts with revenue goals.

  • Provide detailed market feedback to help shape product positioning and sales strategies.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer site visits (up to 75% travel required) to strengthen relationships and accelerate lead conversion.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of Proven track record of meeting or exceeding MQL and SQL targets in a BDR, SDR, or similar outbound sales role.

  • Strong persuasion and objection-handling skills, with experience in high-volume cold calling and email outreach.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling ability to articulate value propositions effectively.

  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated to exceed performance metrics and quotas.

  • Highly organized with a data-driven approach to lead generation and conversion optimization.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales enablement tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Cognism.

  • Willingness to travel up to 75% for industry events, customer meetings, and business development activities.

Success Metrics (Performance Goals)

  • Achieve and exceed monthly MQL and SQL targets

  • Increase lead-to-opportunity conversion rates

  • Ensure 100% CRM accuracy and provide timely reporting on performance insights.
    Successfully drive revenue growth through qualified lead generation and sales collaboration efforts.

Salary is determined based on experience, with compensation consisting of a base salary plus a variable salary. Total OTE is up to $110,000 with no cap.
