Novarc Technologies is looking for a Technical Product Owner - Software & Controls to join our growing team and support the production of our cobots.

Summary: As a Technical Product Owner - Software & Controls you will be responsible for translating customer needs into technical specifications and ensuring the product meets user expectations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, deliver solutions on time, and manage product quality. You will focus on minimizing risks and addressing customer pain points while ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translating business requirements into technical specifications.

• Working closely with the development team to ensure technical feasibility and quality.

• Managing technical debt and ensuring the product architecture is scalable and maintainable.

• Collaborating with other product owners to ensure alignment across different teams and products.

• Prioritizing technical tasks within the product backlog.

• Owning the backlog and roadmap of the Software and Controls Departments.

• Help the team avoid development delays and minimize risks associated with efficient resource use.

• Gathering requirements from internal and external customers.

• Must have a customer-centric mindset to ensure that the product meets user expectations and addresses pain points effectively.

• Communicating with the Sales and Marketing Teams to understand what features and innovations our current software offerings provide.

• Managing all projects using the Novarc defined Product Lifecycle.

• Ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of all projects.

• Working with Customer Support to ensure they have all the necessary training and documentation to be successful.

• Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they are met.

• Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments

• Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience managing projects required.

• Bachelor degree in a technical field related to robotics, hardware or software required.

• Understanding of software development life cycle.

• An appreciation of robots, and its associated complexities of deploying robots at a global scale.

• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders.
