Novarc Technologies is seeking a meticulous, highly organized, and detail-oriented IT Support Analyst II to manage and oversee the company’s IT function.

Summary: The IT Support Analyst II is a critical member of our IT team, providing escalated technical support for desktop systems, network infrastructure, and server environments. This role serves as a primary point of escalation from the helpdesk, resolving complex technical issues and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Additionally, the IT Support Analyst II will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our Google Workspace environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Escalated Technical Support:

  • Serve as the primary point of escalation from the Manage Service Provider for complex desktop, network, and server-related issues not supported by our partner.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, including operating systems, applications, and peripherals.

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for network connectivity, printing, and other technical issues.

  • Document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system.

  • Network and Server Support:

    • Perform basic network administration tasks, including troubleshooting connectivity issues, managing network devices, and monitoring network performance.

    • Provide basic server support, including server maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting.
      Assist with the implementation and maintenance of network and server infrastructure.

  • Google Workspace Administration:

    • Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions within Google Workspace.

    • Configure and maintain Google Workspace applications, including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Meet.

    • Implement and enforce security policies for Google Workspace.

    • Provide training and support to users on Google Workspace applications.
      Ensure that data protection mechanisms and backups are in place and operating properly.

  • Documentation and Training:

    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.

    • Provide training and support to help desk staff and end-users.

    • Assist in the creation of standard operating procedures.

  • Project Support:

    • Assist with IT projects as assigned by the Director.

    • Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies.

    • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a desktop support or systems administration role.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

  • Experience with basic network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

  • Experience with basic server administration (Windows Server or Linux).

  • Extensive experience with Google Workspace administration.
    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, Google Workspace Administrator) are a plus.
