Role Summary: As Perch’s first product manager, you’ll be working across the entire Perch ecosystem which includes people buying their first home, existing home owners, mortgage brokers, Realtors, lawyers and wealth advisors.

You will play a critical role in determining how users (B2B, B2C and B2B2C) plan and execute on their real estate transactions, along with what part various professionals play in their journey. We serve thousands of Canadians across any device and are focusing on scaling our user base and growth channels in 2022.

What You’ll Be Doing: While the time spent in each category will vary based on business needs, your core role will revolve around:

● Work closely with the CEO and department leads in defining the product roadmap and KPIs for the entire Perch product ecosystem. ● Executing on a product roadmap end to end. This includes owning the planning process, writing briefs, spearheading cross-departmental execution and gathering user feedback to be constantly improving our product ● Effectively work and communicate with department leads. This includes backlog grooming, requirements gathering, sprint planning, go-to-market plans, etc.. ● Establish effective processes to ensure efficient product delivery of the highest quality ● Research new product opportunities (market sizing, profitability analysis, scoping, etc.), gather internal/external feedback and build compelling business cases that communicate the viability of opportunities ● Be the ambassador for user needs and having a pulse on user sentiment. This will include regular interaction with users and sharing of insights with other teams

Skills You Should Possess:

Need to Have ● 5+ years experience in a product management role Strong attention to detail ● Collaborative spirit ● Out-of-the box thinker ● Extraordinary ability to prioritize ● Experience working with project management software and Agile methodologies ● Working knowledge of analytical tools and data queries ● Strong communication and an ability to influence

Nice to Have ● 3+ years experience as a product manager in the software space ● Prior experience in the FinTech or PropTech space ● JIRA wizardry ● Experience with Figma ● Experience with Power BI ● Experience with SQL Queries
