We are looking for a Genetic Workflow Consultant who combines expertise in genetics with a passion for delivering outstanding client experiences. In this role, you'll be the bridge between our product and the people it serves, guiding customers through clinical discovery, solution design, onboarding, implementation, and optimization of our genetic workflow software.

How You’ll Make This Happen
🚀 Own the Customer Journey
- Partner with Account Executives and Technical Solution Engineers during qualified sales opportunities as a subject matter expert in genetics and clinical workflows.
- Lead and support discovery sessions to map clinical and lab workflows and uncover needs.
- Deliver clinical software demonstrations tailored to clinicians, genetic counselors, and lab teams.
- Translate clinical challenges into clear solution designs and guide alignment across stakeholder groups.
- Articulate PhenoTips value by connecting enhanced clinical outcomes with achievement of strategic institutional goals.
📈 Strategic Client Enablement & Expansion
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to identify new use cases or optimization opportunities
- Support expansion by surfacing workflow needs and providing consultative input
- Contribute to retention strategies through post-go-live assessments and value tracking.
🧠 Deliver Consultative Expertise in Genetics & Workflow
- Bring clinical and domain expertise to every interaction, advising clients on optimal use of PhenoTips in their workflows.
- Support configuration, testing, and rollout of new workflows or features.
- Act as the go-to expert on pedigree drawing, phenotyping, interoperability, and clinical documentation processes.
📊 Support Pre-Sales and Proposal Activities
- Collaborate with the Revenue team on RFIs/RFPs, SOWs, and clinical content for proposals.
- Provide insights into clinical requirements, interoperability, and outcomes.
- Work closely with Marketing to support go-to-market campaigns, webinars, and event engagements that generate leads.
- Offer feedback on pre-sales processes to improve clarity and alignment.
📚 Communicate Value & Educate the Market
- Develop client-facing education materials, training guides, and onboarding documentation.
- Deliver follow-up sessions post-demo or post-go-live to ensure understanding and long-term adoption.
- Represent customer needs in internal roadmap planning discussions.
What You Bring
✔️ 3+ years of experience in genetic counseling, medical genetics, or related clinical domains (rare disease, oncology, etc.).
✔️ 2+ years of experience supporting health technology implementation, clinical software adoption, or consultative solution design.
✔️ Strong understanding of clinical workflows and tools like pedigree drawing software, phenotyping systems, EPIC, Cerner, etc.
✔️ Experience navigating extended healthcare sales cycles and influencing decision-makers across disciplines.
✔️ Fluency with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
✔️ Outstanding communication and presentation skills; able to simplify complex information for diverse stakeholders.
✔️ Experience collaborating with sales, product, or customer success teams in a support or advisory role.
✔️ Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Bonus Points
🎯 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Genetics, Genetic Counseling, or a related field.
🎯Experience supporting the adoption of clinical software tools, either in a consulting, product, or implementation role.
🎯 Experience using or supporting PhenoTips in a clinical or research setting.
🎯 Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
🎯 Skilled at navigating RFPs, procurement processes, and technical sales engagements.
