We are seeking a strategic and driven Account Executive – U.S. to expand our customer base across the U.S. market. You’ll lead full-cycle enterprise sales engagements, with a focus on healthcare delivery networks and academic medical institutions. You will lead potential customers through long sales cycles and build consultative partnerships.

This isn’t just a sales consultant role, it’s a high-impact, U.S. market opportunity, to drive revenue while transforming clinical genomics across the U.S.

How You’ll Make This Happen

🌍 Drive Enterprise Sales Across the U.S.

  • Proactively generate new business across the U.S. Market, with a particular focus on academic medical institutions and complex provider networks.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and lead qualification to demonstration, proposal, and contract execution.
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes with persistence, precision, and professionalism.

📈 Manage Pipeline & Deliver Results

  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline, consistently updating CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) with accurate forecasting and deal progression.
  • Optimize your lead funnel to increase conversion rates and improve sales velocity across all channels.
  • Use strategic segmentation to prioritize high-potential accounts and tailor outreach based on healthcare delivery networks and academic medical institutions procurement cycles.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas while adapting to market realities in each region.

  • Deeply understand client pain points and connect their goals with the PhenoTips solution suite.
  • Collaborate with Technical Solution Engineers and Genetic Workflow Consultants to shape tailored solutions and ensure technical alignment.
  • Lead discovery, sales presentations, and pricing discussions that clearly communicate business value.

🧠 Leverage Product Expertise & Market Intelligence

  • Become a PhenoTips product expert, confidently delivering demos and responding to prospect questions.
  • Stay current with U.S. healthcare trends, buyer behaviors, and competitor positioning across provider and academic systems.
  • Conduct research on institutions, funding cycles, stakeholder groups, and regulatory environments to inform your sales strategy.

🤝 Collaborate for Cross-Functional Wins

  • Partner with Marketing and SDRs to source leads through webinars, conferences, campaigns, and content strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales, Technical Solution Engineers, and other stakeholders to co-develop custom quotes and solutions that align with client requirements.
  • Contribute to proposals, RFIs, and RFP responses with support from leadership and customer success teams.
  • Serve as a key input into international go-to-market plans and territory adjustments.

📬 Engage & Nurture with Discipline

  • Implement structured 45–90-day sales engagement plans to maintain momentum throughout long sales cycles.
  • Use regular touchpoints, including personalized emails, video calls, and thought leadership content, to build trust and drive deals forward.
  • Maintain excellent internal communication and reporting to support revenue planning and leadership reviews.

What You Bring

✔️ 4+ years of proven success in software sales, ideally in healthcare, clinical, or genomics-related domains.

✔️ Experience selling into U.S. healthcare delivery networks or academic medical institutions.

✔️ Strong working knowledge of CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce and outbound tools such as Apollo, Outreach, or ZoomInfo.

✔️ Strategic thinker who sets clear goals and executes against a defined sales plan.

✔️ Demonstrated success navigating complex deal cycles, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and closing large accounts.

✔️ Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across technical and non-technical buyers.

✔️ Comfortable managing multiple opportunities across varying stages of the funnel in a remote, fast-paced environment.

✔️ Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate international time zones.

Bonus Points

🎯 Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

🎯 Familiarity with precision medicine, genetics, or health tech ecosystems.

🎯 Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in startup or growth-stage environments.

Competitive base salary (range of $95k to $105k) with a total compensation opportunity (Base salary plus OTE - 70/30 plan) range of $135k to $150k.
